Anyway it's about a patent filed by Honda for what looks like a 1000cc V5 street bike. I know, It doesn't mean they are going to make it. But lets hope.

Nah, he's just tired of the threads about a VFR that we'll never see. These threads come up all the time. The patent that you're referring to was also posted up last fall/winter, and as you can see, no VFR meeting that description ever materialised. It would be nice if Honda updated the VFR, but alot of us have lost hope. Do a search for 7th Gen VFR and see what comes up, I'm sure you'll get a few results.

I doubt Rivcyko posted that with any "attitude" oher than a light-hearted tongue-in-cheek one!! We all know Riv, I don't think that would be his style!!

He was just trying to answer drewl's question..not mess with you....me neither. I would love to see a 5 cylinder VFR, but it is probably not happening for a few years, in the meantime I got an 07 cbr600rr. But yes I do miss the VFR....and I was pissed when I went to the dealer the other day and had my old bike (the VFR) sitting right by the front door...kind of like seeing an ex-girlfriend out on a date :mellow:

Were you here when we all sat around our monitors anxiously waiting for the official online unveiling of the new 07 models? That was the end of the typical 4 year VFR cycle which Honda had religiously stuck to for many, many, years. Talk about a let down......
