I have been thinking of lowering the front forks into the trees for some time so today I finally got the jack out and put the forks up into the triple trees about an inch more to lower the front end. I really really like what this does for the handling of the bike. It turns much better and is not as top heavy. It just feels more comfortable. I highly recommend this modification. Also I can touch the ground a little better. I'm pretty short at 5' 8" but was really just on my tip toes stock.
Lowered Front End

Glad you like it, just check and make sure your fender doesn't hit the radiator or the cylinder head.
An inch/24mm is alot, Most I have heard is to raise the forks up 10mm .... Or about 49mm from the top tripple to the top fork tube.
