Photoshop Help - Wheel Color

So I'm not much of a photo-chopper, but Ive been thinking of possibly getting my VFR's wheels powder coated for a while now for a little more unique look. Finally found a place in town to do it that comes highly recommended. So anyway, my original idea was for gold colored wheels, but then as random as it is, I saw a used 25th anniv. at the local ducati dealer with powder coated gold wheels. i wasn't a huge fan. But they were more of a dark-coppery gold. I'm looking for a brigher gold, similar to whats on like a Subaru STi. SO anyway, here's a pic of my bike, and a pic of an STi wheel. I'd like to see the STi color on my wheels. And while we are at it, anyone else have any suggestions for wheel colors? If so, postem up, or go ahead and photoshop the color onto my bike. I'm looking for something unique, but not too crazy. BTW, my bike is 06 bass boat black.....Thanks for the help!!

That's what cruzinaz will be doing for me next week. While Nu Wheel is refinishing a side panel for me, I decided to have them polish the rims and repaint the middle in the same Cosmic Metallic Black that the rest of the bike came in. I can't wait to get my bike back to pre-dump condition.

Awesome! Thanks guys! I like the new "10-spoker" idea. lol I actually do like that black with polished lip look, it goes a little better with all the aluminum. But the gold really just came out exactly how I hoping it would. Pops just right with the black, I think, without being to "blingy". I just really wish they had put the black frame like on the 25th annv. on the 06 blacks. Not really a whole lot I can do about that now though, I assume.....I don't want to disassemble the whole bike. Blacking out the rest of it would be simple enough, but I assume the frame is a PITA. I'm a fan of the whole "stealth" look.....guess I should of bought an asphalt.

What do you guys think about getting the passenger peg brackets powder coated black while I'm at it? Is that too much black? I've defianly never been a fan of them, and actually ran without them for months. I think they kind of ruin the lines of the bike. Plus they try to block some of the beautiful SSSA. But eventually I bought hardcases, so I had to put them back on. I've never had anything powder coated before, so I'm just trying to get some ideas. Only want to do this one time. Just figured black would be a little less noticable.

Opinions / other suggestions? Post'em up!

you forgot the fork legs, the frame, the rotor carriers and the swingarm

chrome wont get you home, but black will get you back.

Just a thought for info purposes. Did not know exactly where to put the information so thought I'd do it in this thread. Here is a difference process that looks interesting and could be useful to many:

You can see the black passenger pegs if you look hard enough. Still have lots left to do....forks, discs, triple clamp, gas cap, and ignition housing are probably next. Frame, swing arm, and hub will be the big one....possibly over the dead of winter...just depends on how cold it is here.

BTW.....not that your asking, but I definitely like the gold wheels. Painting the radiators gold too might give just a hint of gold in the bike itself to help match.
