At Least They Have The V4 In Their Minds...

I just came across these pics from Intermot 2008, and yeah, that funky new concept was there, but Honda also had some great V4's out of their history on display to emphasize the V4 theme. The optimist in me would love to assume that is an indicator of a new V4 motorcycle coming soon.

In any case, at least the pics are cool.

Those are some good looking bikes, nice eye candy!

I hadn't seen the NR750 next to a VFR before, it really put the dimensions of the NR into perspective for me when I first saw it.

We can only hope that it is an "RC60" and not a "DN-02".

Maybe they will dumb those crappy CBR series bikes for a fullline upof proper V4s
Keep the Cbr 600rr cuz it's cute. Build a VFR800 middle weight and a VFR 1000rr and a VFR1200ST Super Sport Touring.

I love that burgundy color on the top VTEC. I loathe the Black/White on the 09...

I give up. Screw the rumors.
I'll just wait and see what Honda does.
If they come out with something I like, I'll buy one used a year or 2 later.

The photos say
Honda
The Power of Dreams

I say:

Honda
The Power of Slumber...Zzzzzzxxx

Again, wake me when Honda Bear comes to the mouth of the cave and actually poops out a new V4.

(that I can afford!)

No kidding... something about that CHP (Police bike, I haven't been to CA in a while so I'm sad and I don't remember the exact paint) scheme just... bleh

Wait... maybe that would be handy...

Oh I don"t know... i kinda like the stark contrast with the blacked out frame (always been partial to white, though).

Burgundy looks great too. Too bad there's no black, ..... or yellow, ..... or blue, ..... or, ... uh ... (wish I could have one of each :) )

White IS the new black. ;)

Honda's just following the trend - nearly all the bike manufacturers are doing white bikes for '08 and '09.

I like the white but could do without the blacked out frame. I'm certain that I read somewhere that the proper VFR color is RED.

Great find SEBSPEED... I saved the shot showcasing the RC45 next to the RC212V... 13 years between Gp V4s...

I like the black and white...

I think Yamaha is doing what Honda was 10-20 years ago which is; innovate, invest in racing, make cool stuff.
Honda has settled in to relaible and average.

I agree. Also, I do like the white\black with white rims.
