Did you get them powder coated? Did you also powder coat the pegs?
I want to powder coat my hangers black, but the peg seems like it should be anodized. Also, what did you do about the hardware? Did you anodize them black too?

I rattle-canned the exhaust with high temp paint and after a year it has started flaking off. Everything else was powder coated. The heel guards have some missing paint after two years. I never carry a passenger so mine are only there to hold the hardbags.
I powder coated mine. It's really not expensive and last much longer than "paint". I powdered the pegs and brackets. Everything but the pin and spring for the peg.
I painted mine the first go around but it didnt last very long. Get them powdered, you wont be disappointed.
I chopped the passenger hangers and pegs, smoothed what was left of the top bracket and had that powder coated. I don't carry a passenger but needed to keep the mount for the bags and remote pre-load knob. I don't have a picture to add now. I bought a used set to chop off Ebay and still have my original silver ones in a box.
