- Crashed my 4th gen. Deciding what to get next If it were me, I'd take a look at my budget and go from there. I'd look at every bike that fits my current riding style and budget.
- SanFrancisco parking Parking is a premium in SF. I can send you to a garage that is much cheaper, but w/ cab fair, you will not save that much. That's really just how it is around here... PM me if you want some alternate parking suggestions.
- Can't get bug spray off my windshield! I'd try to buff them out with an electronic buffer.
- Going VFR1200F to VFR1200 DCT??? If it were me, I'd demo other makes of motorcycles and if in the end, this is the bike that still moved me, then I'd go for it :fing02:
- Penske vs. Ohlins shock Any after market shock will be a huge upgrade from stock, but I'd wait the 2 weeks for the Ohlins. I would always go with the premium equipment, even if it cost a bit more.

- New Mirrors for my VFR What's wrong with the ones that you have? Not so much on the chrome jobs. If it were a custom bike, maybe...
- kerker slip on exhaust For what it's worth, mine seemed to run worse when I installed my Power Commander. I had a Remus and a K&N filter. I actually had a local tuning shop try to tune the thing and the power range never felt proper. Sure,…
- Just Hunting for Sympathy :pissed: :pissed: :pissed: By the way, what is a CF BB?
- Renthal diamond grips - anyone using them? Long term grip reviews I used the firm , because they felt as good as stock or better. I like a firm grip on the bars and have never liked soft compound grips. I'd say it was the best $10 I have ever spent on a motorcycle. I have used them on…
- Reliable Honda Dealer In SoCal On a side note, unless you have been riding that bike at a race pace for 15k miles, I doubt the valve check is worth the time. The money would not be an issue for me if it needed to be done, but I doubt they are out of…
- Reliable Honda Dealer In SoCal Mach 1 always had a good reputation when I lived down there.
- I'm now the owner of a second motorcycle That's a great story. I wish that I could remember what kind of bike that my father had, because I too would buy one just to keep for the memory. Way to go :fing02:
- Decal Removal [image: View Post]Park800, on 11 November 2010 - 04:25 PM, said: Leave the new decals off. It looks great! :fing02: +1 I have never been a fan of stripes on any bike that I have ever owned!
- Remove speed limitation Not to beat a dead horse, but why does one need to ride faster than 156mph on a public road?
- Can't believe I rode my bike! DAMN!!!!! Sounds good, looks good!!!!!
- Remove speed limitation Is the stock HP not enough? My K1300s has more HP than I'll ever need on a public road, I cannot imagine the VFR1200 needing more than stock. But what do I know, maybe I am a slow rider...
- Found a new (to me) PRIVATE shop :fing02:
- Cool Video in this commercial Great find :fing02: Thanks for sharing
- When do you change your tyres? Tires are what keeps you from being part of the road. Do what gives you peace of mind. I usually change when they get to or around the wear marks.
- My Suspension Makeover is Now Complete I agree 100%. When I picked up my K1300s, I added front and rear Ohlins within a couple of months. $2k well spent dollars without question. You are so correct about aftermarket exhaust, to save 10lbs and add maybe 5hp,…
- Exhaust Wraps Fitted I wound not worry too much about the moisture being trapped in between the fibers and the headers, a replacement set are like $250. If the corrode, just buy another used set.
- What is everyone paying now that VFR1200f are available.... Call around the state. If you can get a better deal, then fly and ride. You may not save that much all told, but for the same money, you get the experience of being on the road. Also, Mission Motorcycles in Daly City…

- Well She Almost Made It Through A Season ! Glad you are ok! I have two rear tail cowlings in red, one new, one slighty nicked if. I also have a new Givi screen that I would let go pretty cheap as well. Let me know if any of that interest you.
- Any Reason Not To Buy 2002? You cannot go wrong with any year VFR, despite what some non-Vtec owners may say.
