Not a chance, actually. Join the RC30 Yahoo Group if you want to learn all about RC30 parts availability (and lack thereof). There are parts all over the place--for a price--but less and less are still available from Honda. HRC parts are even rarer, but if you have the money, you can still find a lot of exotica. Don't crash...

The RC30 engine is similar to the early VFR750s (FG-FK), but quite different than the RC36 engine, so if that's what you've got, forget it!

I've pretty much decided not to buy an RC30, because the parts situation is now so critical that people are having to manufacture their own... (RC40 & 45, here I come! )

Ciao,

I have several RC30 tuning parts in my VFR750F / RC36 which directly fit or with a very small mod:

-Alloy clutch plates
-RC30 race alternator
-JE bigbore pistons (kit is for the RC30 and RC36)
-HRC clutch cover
-Mechanical RC30 clutch (Durbahn)
-HRC clutch cover
-RC30 carbs with HRC parts (I also used RC30 Keihin Flatslides on my bike).

hi, I'm interested on your hrc rc30 spares. Please let me know if you still have and your request for them. Thanks Pietro

His stuff isn't for sale, those are the pieces that he has managed to fit to his super light 3rd gen.

he does say that he's got 2 clutch covers though :laughing6-hehe:

Most of the stuff he mentioned is or was available from Durbahn, so my guess is that is what he's talking about.

their brilliant repro cover:

i love how they did the HRC

Also available from them is the alternator, deep sump oil pan, carbon RC30 airbox, HRC style airbox, FCR39 carbs, and a bunch of OEM spares... unless those have already sold, not to mention their very ugly but very cool monocoque tail.

I believe vfroem's HRC clutch cover is gen-u-ine Honda Racing, not a Durbahn replica:

Post: Santa Clause Already Arrived

Although I agree, the Durbahn Racing Hamburg covers are gorgeous. I wish someone would pay him to start building VFR parts, but it looks like the RC30 and Superhawk are as close as he has ever gotten.

If I remember correctly, I think vfroem also acquired a glut of race-prepped RC30s and spares at around the same time as the HRC clutch cover, so... who knows what is out there?

:offtopic: I just realized, I lurk here waaaaaaay too much. Almost creepy.
