What a great ride report. It was interesting to see pictures of my part of the world as I never think much about it. Someone else seeing it give a new perspective for sure. BTW, for those who have never been to the painted rock, it is the "Pig Rock" on NYS Route 30 near Speculator, NY, which is a nice sweeper type of road into the Adirondack Mountains. Too bad he didn't get to ride the Ensign Pond loop and enjoy some NY real twisties. Some one in the "North" offer him a garage spot for the bike yet so he can get home to be with mom for her surgery? It was not in his post yet.

It is one of those epic kind of rides I'd like to take one day, just spend 6 or 9 months riding around North America. She seems to be having a good time of it.
