Gutted Exhaust

I have a set of gutted cans that's been sitting in my garage for about a year now, b/c the end caps fell off.  I originally used JB Weld to stick them on and that worked for a season, but then they fell off.
I tried some local welding shops, those that just work with iron (fences, gates, etc...) but the way they weld, I'd rather not do it at all.   The one thing they welded for me in the past looked like a bad case of diarrhea.
So, my question is, can anyone in NYC area or in the North East PA help me out with this? Or point me to a shop that can do it nice and cheap?

Send a PM to Toro, I would think he knows someone in NE PA w/ a TIG or a MIG setup. Also try Poconovfr, he might have someone that fixes his equipment?

How about a muffler shop?  I had a local guy weld mine back up.  His welds aren't artwork but they were definitely better than Honda's welding.

Look for a shop that does polishing.  They should be able to help out.  I'd direct you to my guy but he's no longer around.

Is that really just a grind, smooth and polish, or a plate and polish?
