Turnsignal options

I have now collected 3 sets of different flavors, and nothing is jumping out as the one. The original brackets are f'ed completely and I haven't been able to locate another set. I have flush mounts (K&S 'oval'), these mini bullet style that I thought about hiding in the grill under the headlight and these gxsr600s. What are you guys sporting? (Good time to post some pics!)

I've never been a fan of the "truck cab marker lights"... I say make the gixxer 600 ones work. Great way to modernize an old bike! :fing02:

:+1: I'm with Seb. Those "flush mounts" have been around forever. I put them on one of my bikes back in the late 80's. I think the GXR ones look the best, and again like Seb said, a great way to modernize the old girl.

I'm going to go against the grain and say the mirror+signals just aren't period correct for the bike, I wouldn't use them on a stock VF. But you've changed the tail so it might work together. I'd go with the truck cab flush mounts. :cool:

I think the 86 RWB looks so retro the truck cab markers work perfect. I don't think I would like something new or modern looking on it.

I am not sold on the gixser mirrors at all, but I had them and thought I would stir the pot. I prefer the stock mounting with some modern stalk signals - but was looking for some alteratives!

im probably walking head long into outing myself as a newbie but i like the headlight on this bike, is this stock or an upgrade? im getting an 86 this weekend and have been looking for head light options. can these lights be retrofit to a 500? if they arent stock, what are they from and how hard was the retro fit?
