Last 50 of 133- Finished The Vfkr (Kind Of) I was hoping it was that simple... Now I have to get carb sticks! Thanks for the help - :fing02:
- New To Site: 85 Vf1000R Just an out of the box thought - I removed mine well over a thousand miles ago (albeit a vfr750 tank...) and have not had any issues. My guess is Honda had to plan for high speeds with low fuel (lower static pressure)…
- New To Site: 85 Vf1000R Yo unbalanced - you have any windscreen screws, nuts and rubber? I need 4 of them? Access door on lower fairing? I could start making a wish list with you...lol I may have a few extra windscreen hardware, and definitely…
- New To Site: 85 Vf1000R Congrats and Welcome! :smile2: Always good to see another VFKR being resurrected. I have a good assortment of spares from the 3 bikes i've had through my garage, but my spare seats look like yours. I would follow…
- Vf1000r Rebuild +2 and I have that exhaust on mine! The shorty does not work IMO. Best of luck with the build!
- '85 Vf500 - Headlights & Starter Ceased Functioning.... It's likely to be the starter switch. Check the wiring diagram, you'll see the headlight routes through the starter switch, and they frequently break tabs and don't make the needed connection.
- '85 Vf1000R For Sale In My Town I don't think the mileage is that high considering it's 28 years old. It all depends upon how well it was maintained or if it was abused, but it sure looks like was taken care of. Mine was a $600 basket case with 32K…
- Do These Silencers Make My R Look Fat? I think there is a deeper question here - what is going on in their place?
- Good Lord...what Have I Done? That's awesome! You know the blood is still flowing when you take on a project like that.. very nice! Keep us posted! I better not see any CT plates driving around my neighborhood. Funny that you mention that...

- Tom's Vf1000F Revival Sounds like a solid find assuming the body's in decent shape and all there. Parts are tougher to find but they show up now and again - I've been looking for one for a while so good find!
- VF1000R & F replica Winning Run speedo brackets Thanks for the info - I'll try them direct. Did you send in english or did you translate?
- VF1000R & F replica Winning Run speedo brackets [image: View Post]VF1000RS, on 23 June 2012 - 04:40 PM, said: As far as what countershaft sprocket will work, the stock sprocket of course and I have been using the offset sprockets from Krueger Junginger(sp?). I have a…
- Project 85 VF1000R Ok, you obviously have not posted enough pics of the garage - is that three lifts? I can't look.... Beautiful job BTW!
- VF1000R & F replica Winning Run speedo brackets Sold! You can sign me up, but also a question - I assume this provides mounting for the clutch slave cylinder and also allows clearance for a 'spaced out' counter shaft sprocket? what is the largest clearance, 9mm?…
- 1KR engine into 1KF frame I'll second that... Very nice Lance!
- 1984 VFkR resto begins today Love the European faired VFKRs, best of luck and welcome!
- Would you buy it for $1500? I am a little late here, but the Hindle would have made me buy it alone. You could part ot out if you had to and make your investment back, but lets face it - if you are buying a VFKR your doing it to own a peice of…
- 03 VFR Sticker(s) Recommendation looking good - Are you goimg to add the 'VFR' decals to the upper (by the turnsignal)?

- 03 VFR Sticker(s) Recommendation You could do this, where the upper stripes are tape and just the lower black is painted... Photoshop your color preference ;)
- 03 VFR Sticker(s) Recommendation So why use decals? I've got a set of guns and I'll be painting this winter... stop by AC with a 6pack and we can do this - PS credit her to Spotthedog! http://www.vfrdiscus...o-custom-paint/

- Another VF500 resurrection What a difference a year makes, last year I thought I would have to get rid of my VF1000R and now another VF graces the garage! My wife took a MSF course, got her licence and wanted to ride so... $600 and it hasn't run…

- 6 month Storage questions..... If the tank is off the bike and ready for paint, I would add a splash of stabilizer and forget about it. The concern would be condensation in the tank (assuming you seal it off), but if you are only out 6 months the…
- vf1000f project Also dig the rearsets, what are they? Also curious about the exhaust, where are you headed with it?
- I got twins! There are worse afflictions to have, I think most of us share yours! Very nice find - the 86 is looking good!
- VF1000R Updates finally something to post - I got the 4-1 finished and installed, found a Yoshimura TRS muffler. I was going to have a mid pipe made, but in the mean time I thought I would play around with the Hindle mid pipe - and I…
- VFKR 4-1 Exhaust rebuild Quick updates - finally got the header cleaned up and used high temp header paint to finish it. I had to make a new bracket but it bolted up nice... I'll update the rest under the bike build - :cheerleader: Attached…
