Hi all I'm a bit short and I've been on my VFR for 4 years. I've gotten the Corbin seat and I was thinking about lowering it. Is it as simple as rotating the triangle and dropping the forks 10mm?
Are there any photo's of the procedure?
I'm just getting tired of tippy toes with the wifey...

This needs to be a "sticky". I did a fair amount of hunting to find enough information to do this confidently.

Hi Jim
So did shorted the side stand ? if yes by how much ?
Want to get the measurements right before i go berserk and start cutting the side stand :)
I am also pondering on the Idea of rotating the triangle. I have no Idea on how to cut and weld the kick stand nor do I want to shell out $150 for a adjustable one.
So this pass weekend I raised the forks 10mm and it helped, I can get both ball of my feet on the ground now.
took it for a test ride and it feels fine. turn in takes less effort and still very stable in a straight line, over bumps.
no tank slapper happened under hard acceleration
so I'll just leave the rear triangle link alone for now.
just wanted to share this info if someone on the same boat like me.

I did lower the bike by flipping the triangle over the weekend. The task was pretty straight forward. Hope to cut the Side stand and re-weld in next few days. Planning to reduce the side stand by 10 mm.
