Passenger tank grab bar

I was going over one of my favorite catalogs based out of Germany. I love the euro approach to the the gear. Updated models and things rarely seen over here. When I get over there, I do check out Louis or Polo stores. Anyway the link

shows this handle attached to the tank that allows a safer secure attachment point. I would think that this idea would work both in acceleration and braking. Let me know what you think. I would think TUV testing would have taken care of any safety issues.

should fit. in the pictures they have it on a CBR, but my CBR & VFR have the same gas cap mounting.
