Probably not going to buy one... would like to tho and you just never know.

Anywho I would like to find out if it even exists still.... since that would cure my desiring of it. And if it does, how much is it... which I suspect will also cure my desiring of it.

Any info would be appreciated

I like things like this because I like things like this (which explains my VFR444R, VFR837F and VFR800FiSC...), which very well may be your problem, too! Just don't expect to feel much of a difference from a big bore kit on a VFR--especially considering the not inconsiderable expense. You'd get a lot more bang for your buck by buying a bigger bike... (The A&A supercharger is a different animal, though--mine isn't finished yet, but I'm quite sure it is worth the price of admission.)

Yes, I would get more bang for buck with the super but this is for a 4th Gen... no kit available. Next best thing... big bore kit.
I wonder what they are worth.... think I'll drop them a line.

TTS web shop isn't working, nor is their enquiry form. Sent an email manually.. not holding my breath.

Last time i spotted the advertised price it was in the local MCN rag in UK, the piston kit was £440. That was just a few years ago.
If i ever wanted a piston for my 2stroke yamahas a few years ago i always went to a specialist piston workshop. They seamed to get anything i needed for a rebore. I guess they also might be able to size up what pistons we are after with a little work and maybe find something that would work?
I'm here in the UK. I would call TTS if I had credit on my phone. but i have no money to buy a kit at the moment either.. lol.......
Ive always considered this modification would need better carbs(RC30 be perfect) among other tweaks (crank balance/blueprint, lose the generator, loose water pump, polish ports etc) to realize the full benefit of the big bore worth the effort.

Yes, the kit is still available, cost 550 inc shipping to Australia, kit comes with pistons, rings, pins & locks, you will need to use stock Honda gaskets & open them out to suit, these are custom made & will take approx 4 weeks for delivery.

And then you have to add the cost of a full engine re-build and re-bore to that... I had TTS do my RC36 and NC30, both of which they managed to screw up in one way or another; you won't have those issues, but you may have others. The Honda V4 is notoriously difficult to re-bore properly, so I wouldn't try using a regular hot rod shop to do the work. If you find anyone who has experience doing this in Oz, use them.
