The other topic in the 5G section got me thinking, what is your favorite pic of your VFR? Not the top few or five, but the best single pic. Post them up. :fing02:
This was a year or two after I got my bike, stopped for a fresh seafood lunch on the wharf.

I shot this one a couple weeks ago at the base of Mt. Washington in NH before I rode up to the summit one beautiful morning...
I know, I know... I got the idea from a pic I saw on this forum... but I still like it!

Very nice, Monk! It is meaningful both as a VFR picture as well as commentary. Such a truism!
don't know why, but that whole color combo on that VFR is Killer!! those colors would not even normally be in my mindseye, but dang.... NOW they are. sweeet looking...

The wheels have reflective red tape that shows different colours when the flash from the camera hits it...... I've since figured out how to stop the flash on my new camera.

kinda reminds me of friction lit carbon discs from F1, only bigger :fing02:
My fave because I like how the backdrop looks like a screen pulled down for the phtograph

Blow Me Down provincial park, Newfoundland. We camped here for 2 nights. This was part of my first "Great Ride", 6000km in 12 days, 4 ferry rides, camped the whole time. The coldest night was 3C (37F). As cold as the night was, the next day we rode in 4C temps, in the rain and howling winds. Thanks for the memories....

Surprising myself with this choice. I thought my fav was my avatar. After the inner-debate, I decided I liked this one for the sport touring theme which IS what Honda claims the VFR to be. This was at the point where I rolled over 25k and stopped for the photo.

You know it!, myself and kid #3, I started calling him Monster way before he started to walk. He just never seemed to stop doing breaking drinking opening throwing and trying to ignite stuff. Ever since his first ride on my 93, and now on this 96, always a grin, always asking for more speed. God help us all when he gets a bike.

Here's my pic ... a VFR as God intended ... what a saucy little minx  ... I was just looking through my gallery and I think I need one or two action/hero shots though!

Here is one of my memorable shots... http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/uploads/1284150097/gallery_8073_4155_8017.jpg A surprise! 2-28-07-9:06am A surprise after I got to work

I like all the pictures of my VFR, but this one the most. It was the day I picked it up and brought it home. See how clean everything is, wish it was easy to keep it that way after 60,000km

Took this one using a technique called, "painting with light" Camera was set on a tri-pod and the shutter speed was set at 30 seconds. I walk around the bike during the exposure with a hand held flash activating it four times.
Second photo was taken on Bear Notch Road in N.H. in 2009
Malibu Hills, CA (If you look closely you can see the bird poop on the fairing - damn birds! Ruined a great pic) ;)

This photo is an excellent illustration the problem I have with SciFi or Star trek or Star Wars or that recent blue people movie....I can't really tell if those alien chicks are hot or not....
