I bought a used micron high off ebay a couple weeks ago for $60. Install was easy and quick, sounds like a stock car. Everyone else likes the sound as much as I do. My dad (68yrs old) liked it so much he wanted to try it out. He had not been on any bike in over 20yrs.

Cool! Any chance you could make a sound clip? I'm curious how different it is than my D&D on my '95 model.

I'll work on it. I think my brother has a decent camcorder. Mine's a 95 too
60 bucks!? that's a good buy if it's in great condition. Lots of VFR Micron fans through the years as their pipes were known to have the mellowest tones (specially the carbon versions) Take car of it, cause IIRC, Micron went out of buisines a couple of years ago, so spare parts for them might not be too easy to find.
Enjoy your Micron before people who think that us VFR riders with aftermarket pipes are "part of" the noise problem :dry: that are now triggerring more restrictive laws about changing pipes on bikes, takes them away from us...blehhhhhhh......

95 VFR with high right Staintune!
I have a Micron low mount on my 2001 and love it. Had a D&D before that and thought it was obnoxiously loud. The Micron had a small crack in the carbon fiber from when the guy dropped it and the rear peg hit it. I think I paid $40 for it and have had it on there about 4 or 5 years now with now issues.
