This is just an excuse to show you some photos of me at Mallory earlier today. Bike ran like a dream, I was completely wiped by mid-afternoon.

4 years off the bike is too long and I'll sleep well tonight.

Being chased through the Esses by 'H' on his '95. After he got tired of following me and giggling like an idiot over the V4 howl we were producing, he then blew past me and proceeded to embarrass a bunch of sports bikes. Just wait, he'll have to work for his passing points soon enough!

By the time I got confident enough to really try getting my knee down, I was too tired. A bit more time in the Gym and a few more miles and I'll be scrubbing off the last 1/3" of chicken strip I've got left.

What a day, I'm still buzzing and can confirm that my modified airbox is easy to live with up to 5500 rpm. Then it starts to growl and by 10k the insanity has truely set in. Un-friggin-believable! Who needs drugs!!!

Nice. Your yellow 3rd gen looks quite at home at the track :fing02:

Do you always ride with a high viz vest or just this trackday. You might consider getting the Kushitani High Viz waist coat.

High Vis vest was just because it was my first time at Mallory Park. Optional for those of us who had done track riding before, but a bit of a flag for the others on the track that we were learning a new circuit. I normally haven't worn one on the road, but I think I may get one as most car drivers are blind, negligent or a bit of both when it comes to paying attention to the world around them.

Mallory is a great little circuit as it's short (1:15 for us beginners and 1:00 for the quicker guys) and easy to learn.

Can't wait to get to Cadwell, Oulden Park and Anglesey. All on the horizon.
