I really like it, can't wait to hear how much cheaper it is compared to the 7th gen.

That's a nice looking bike. So basically it's the old ZRX line of bikes that has been updated over the past few years. Interesting�.

The seat looks too small to carry a passenger, she looks like she's ready to fall off.

If only they would show more than half a second of each shot I could tell what it looks like.

The seat does look a bit small. Looked like she was sitting on a bit of tail plastic. The bags look nice, but not sure if I like the entire package.

Here's my two cents: There's nothing wrong with the VFR1200F. I've ridden it and it's a good bike. If it had been up to me, I would have given the engine an additional 100 cc's, a slightly taller windshield, factory heli-bars, a larger gas tank, and hard bags. All standard. I then would have called it the new generation ST1300.

As for a 7th gen. VFR, I would have bumped displacement from 800 to 1000 cc's and kept the bike, more or less, the same size as the 6th gen. VFR. I would have updated its looks, given it inverted forks, a split level seat, the usual comfy ergos, etc. And yes, a V4 engine configuration and SSSA.

Replace the green with white and I'd love it.

I particularly like the way it collects a chick in tight leather during the ride... what option box do I tick for that?

You're right!!!

For some reason I thought it was only being sold in Europe. According to Kawasaki's U.S. web site, it's got a 5 gallon tank, fully adjustable inverted forks, and the windscreen adjusts to three positions without tools. I don't recall reading anything about hp figures but my guess is about 135 rwhp. The MSRP is $10,999 and the bike will be available in Red or Black.

My first grown-up bike was an '01 Kawasaki ZR-7S. It was a great bike, versatile and underrated IMO, but I soon wanted something sportier, more modern, a little faster and with FI. I rode it for about 5 months before I upgraded to my VFR. But based on that experience I would definitely buy another Kawasaki.

Well, base price is $5000-$6000 less than the VFR with a full line of bags and heated grips that are probably a tad cheaper than Honda.

So the VFR costs 45% more than this (base). Performance/features are similar, but the Ninja 1000 weighs about 100 lbs less.

Yeah, this may be my.....my wife's next bike. :goofy:

Hit the pause tab........ Then put your arrow on the moving time bar and you can advance it by moving the little circle thingy, or by left clicking in front of the moving circle thingy........
