From the TT of Isle of Man in early 80´s, Joey Dunlop racing a Honda RS850R, the sucsessor of the RVF bikes 3 vid´s, not the best quality but shure nice to watch Joey comments

I think it is pretty good considering it was shot nearly 30 years ago. This is small clip from the video"V4 Victory" available from Duke.

Man, that was scary fast!
The guys that ride the IOM TT are insane, IMHO. :blink:
There's some high-speed camera footage somewhere of the bikes over a bumpy bit of the course, slowed right down so you can see how much they leap around, leave the road, tire deformation, etc etc. Incredible....

Joey was the best road racer ever. Too bad he passed at a 125 race. I believe his brother and possibly son have pased as well from racing.

Thanks for posting this - amazing still today. Joey D. was the legend of the TT. He not only was a helluva racer, he was a helluva human being. RIP Joey.

He talked about having cold tires at the start and having to take it pretty easy. I think if they had the tire tech of today and the tire heaters those bikes could still place pretty well in that race today.
