CB1000R coming to the states?

Got a surprise when he said $22,000AUD though.

This article states that the Euro model is about 67-80% less money than the CBR1000RR, so the expected MSRP is around $10,800. That wouldn't be bad. Not digging the rear wheel, though, and a new can would make that bike look nice.

By the way, anyone else not liking the upper cowl of the new Tuono also featured in the article?

Nope, loving it. Reminiscent of the RC in a way. 162hp V4 :wheel:

I guess it's not the upper cowl that I don't like, but the lack of a real windscreen. It looks like it's missing something. Lotsa power though.

I can't say I'd buy one soon, but I'd love to see the CB1kR show up in the US.

I like the wheel. Will it fit on a 5th gen?

I'm not really digging it. There's nothing on it that makes it different enough.

I wondered why there wasn't a thread about this bike.. I like it! :)

I would like it as a second bike and would love it for work commutes and short range touring.

Hate it! It looks like somebody cut down the windscreen just for (bad) looks. It won't do anything for wind protection.

I was looking at it yesterday and I, too, like the wheels. I was wondering if it would fit on a 6th gen.

other than the digital sweep tach it looks sweet. had one on an fz6 and they suck ass

According to this review: http://www.visordown...iew/9798-2.html, the CB1000R only gets around 135 miles out of its 4.5 gallon tank. If so, that's bad and that alone takes this bike out of the running for my next bike. I've got to get at least 200 miles out of a tank. I get over 230 miles out of my 5th gen.
