Has anyone ever made forward controls for a 5th or 6th gen? Some rearsets allow +/-10 mm, but I'm looking to move the foot pegs and controls forward about 4 to 6 inches.
At least a strategically placed frame slider is in order...
Any ideas?
I would actually love forward controls (or maybe even removable/fold-up floor boards!) for long trips. Curious to see what fellow VFRD members have come up with.

didnt Peto do this a few years back?
He was thinking about it, never came to fruition though. He was getting ready to put on a VTEC tail in the same time frame... then he kinda disappeared?
I've always thought it would be nice to have an option on the length of the controls(hand levers as well).
Personally, I'd like the shifter extended an inch and the brake pedal shortened an inch. The clutch shortened to fit two / three fingers, F-brake lever shortened to fit two fingers.

There are plenty of aftermarket levers of different sizes.
Curious as to why you want the shifter so far forward? My dad has a good sized foot, and the only thing we had to do to the shifter was rotate it up so his boot would fit underneath better.

Most good boots have high toe boxes..... I have my shifter adjusted as close as possible for up / down shifting, and when I got my peg lowering blocks it was even better over all (after re-adjusting).... I think another inch would give me the space I need.....But it could cause the contact point on my boot to be to far foward... I don't "know" that it would be an in provement, just something I'd like to try(not buy, unless).
The after market shorty levers I've seen are still too long.... I'd like to be able to pull the clutch in all the way with two fingers while sitting at a light.... I can do two while riding with long ones.... Also the after market levers don't seem to be rounded enough, like the stock ones.
