Hi all,

Trying to tie up a few loose ends before spring and I was thinking about an HID kit for the bike.

Has anyone installed one of these kits before on a VFR? There are quite a few kits available

for the H4 bulb. Any feed back would be appreciated.

I'm running single-beam H4's on both sides. Used only one side for a year until the halogen side burned out.
Advantage was that I could go lo-hi beam with the halogen, now that's lost; running lo-beam only and with the shielded beam limiters to avoid glaring oncoming traffic.

Other option is to use hi-lo xenons, it's just a single light source, moved by a servo when you hit the high beam switch. Bit more expensive tho.

Careful, some kits don't fit the 4th gen H4 socket, not sure about other models. On mine I snapped the two lower tabs on the light housing to make them fit. The ring rim and socket rim still prevented the light housing from going in all the way.
