You can fix that crashed exhaust! — Exhaust Systems

I am in the process of fixing this titanium Arata can. Thought I'd post some pics to show that it can be done, no need to throw that bad boy away. (and if you really want a new one, send me your "junk"!!)

Started with the poor broken one in the middle of this pic

Start by disassembling as much as possible. Ditch the packing and broken stuff. In this case I peeled the broken piece off the remainder of the sleeve as well. You'll need an array of hammers, and things to hammer on. (the Estwing block hammer was there to hammer ON, not with!)

I love Harbor Freight sockets, but I hate their ratchets. The ratchets are MUCH more useful as punches/dollies!!

Endcap fixed, it was crushed in on the sides.

So - guys that work steel sheet are referred to as "tin knockers". If I find myself hammering on titanium, does that make me a tit knocker? :laughing6-hehe:
