I had to hide the Ohlins preload adjuster under the seat. I'd love to show off the bling but there's too much going on and no room.

Looks good, man.  Where did you get the up pipe?  I might like to re- high mount mine...

Also...not on subject...what are you going to do about the extra holes for the sliders?  The paint looks so nice on the bike...seems like a shame to have the extra holes.

yep, my ohlins remote preload is on the same spot on my bike as Capn's is. No worries with heat from the pipe either.

Thanks for the link. I'll move the adjuster now haha. The problem is that I don't actually have the sliders anymore....lost somewhere.

Aren't those the Harris rearsets? Didn't you get like the last set they had, ever?


You need my nickel plated heatshield to go with those. I went to a CF one and have the nickel one sitting around in great condition.

You hooked me up with an Ohlins spring, I should hook you up with the heatshield!!!   :cheerleader:

I'm a bit worried after finally taking a long ride on the bike. I rode for 80 miles and stopped to get a "feel" of the preload adjuster now that I've mounted it near the exhaust. It's not HOT but it is warm. Like, warm that bare handed it's almost uncomfortable to hold. Is that a bad thing for the fluid inside?
