Just had my first ride of the year on (any of) my bike(s).
Chose the Viffer.
I'd forgotten just how flexible the engine (and the whole bike) is. Brilliant!

Yep, went out for a short stint yesteday. Good to be out. I have some work on the front to do yet, but she felt decent after the winter break.
Went for a first ride yesterday as well.
Had been working in the garden first, sun was shining so did not think of wearing a thermal layer under my jacket. Combine that with a long first ride and my muscles were sore last night.....
But man it felt good to be back on the red slut! :tour:
However, I did notice I have a small oil leak..... no time yet to pinpoint it....
Hope it was not the -15celcius this past winter doing some serious damage.....
Went for spin here, 100+kms. Felt GREAT to be on the bike again.
Safe riding this year everyone!
First ride was about a week and a half ago but haven't had much opportunity since then. Seems it's either pouring rain or I'm busy. I have ridden to work a couple of times but this morning was not one of them. Still no power due to windstorm last night so waiting on power co to fix it for us but wind, rain, and lots of junk on the roads doesn't make for a fun ride. Only $75 to fill the truck up which doesn't sound bad if you say it fast.
Out yesterday after a winter in the garage. It was nicer today, but work truck was the vehicle of the day. Our roads are still very sandy so "spirited riding" is a bit further in the future. Still, it was great to get back out in the air.
Bought my 94 in February, on one of the coldest days in the year. Put steel braided hoses on her, replaced brake pads, fluids and the likes. Have been making some short 200-300m test runs to check brakes etc, but yesterday I took her out to get the annual inspection. Long story short, got 150km out of that ride, the dealership where I make the inspection is about 5km away. Go figure.
Now I know why they put a clock on this one. Definitely one of the smoothest bikes I've ever ridden.
