This is real dumb but here we go.

I absolutely CANNOT find the socket that the fuel level sensor from the tank plugs into.

I know how lame this sounds but I am tearing my hair out over this. I unsecured the wiring harness to do several things this winter and while overhauling, I have somehow "misplaced" the fuel level sensor plug.

Can somebody PLEASE snap a pic of their fuel level sensor and where it plugs into the harness. I have looked all through the common service manual, clymer, and Haynes, still no luck.

I don't have a pc but it is a two prong plug that is located near the thermostat.

I'll look when I get home but I can't say I'm too inspired really, I swear I've checked every inch of the bike with a fine tooth comb and still can't find it which is why I was hoping for a pic.

It's a '93, three prong plug, I'm guessing it goes to a three prong socket but there is none. I can't for the life of me remember where I unplugged it from in October.

I found it. It was jammed down the side of the frame between the rear cylinder head, #3, sandwiched between two thick bundles of wiring harness, phew... should be riding by Saturday.
