Hi folks, anybody heard or have any experience with Filtrex Performance Air filter. I've never heard of them before but looking to change my air filter?

The Stock filter is the best at filtering(bar none) , alot of filters also release lint fibers. Unless your in a really dirty area(Arizona), stock filter will go 17,000 to 20,000 miles.
I dont like cleaning filters, so Id probably try the BMC, if I didnt want to buy the stock one, although that one looks interesting. But thats about $10 shipping for U.S people.
It looks about the same as the K&N and probably just as good(don't know)....... I agree with Spud, where you live is going to be nice to your filter. Colorado I cleaned mine about every 6 months, here in Virginia is 40k miles and cleaned once and really didn't need it.
But I've read here that the two, BMC & K&N filter, have a difference in how much air flow you get.
Hopefully someone will explain the diff ' .
