1998 Seat Cowl Needed

I have a 1998 VFR800Fi and looking for a seat cowl. I have a RED one, anyone got a seat cowl for sale?!

Alot of the ones on Ebay are from Hong Kong and even have disclaimers saying it wont match the stock red.

Keep checking, a red one just went for about $40, I think the buy price is about $60 plus shipping. I know I've been waiting on a yellow one, got one from england for about $80 shipped. I'm using this one for my luggage, going to cut some holes in the side for the mounts.

Exactly why I have 2 of them. (although I have never taken the bag mounts off, so maybe I'm not so smart ...)

Timmy I see you have the wingrack set up. Are they supposed to be installed with the grab handles? If so did you make spacers or something to take up the space where the grab handles are?

I have the sw-motechs and I had to install with the grab rails, wish there was a way to make a spacer that would take up the same space and allow me to run without. Thought about just cutting the grab rails to where they would be under the cowl but seeing how they are worth about $80 a pop I thought I would look for another idea.

No, the Givi bracket bolts to where the handle would be.  The Givi mounting kit did come with two different sized spacers to make the area that the handles lay on flat for the bracket.

I have two. One is still in the factory wrapping. Both red from 2001 s. Both excellent condition. The bike with the cowl in place came without handles. What I'd love to do is a trade of some sort for pillion grips / handles. PM me if interested.

There's a red one on eBay now for $28 as of now. I'd bid it up to $60 or so. $125 plus shipping is just to damn much. Good luck!
