I just did a quick search. Looking at this site.

I don't believe their weight numbers for a second. Because if their numbers are correct, then the stock 848 rear wheel I have is lighter than their CF wheel. And it costed me 4.0% of the original cost of a CF.

I also have an 848 Marchesini rear wheel, and it is insanely light.

I measured 9.8 lbs on our digital scale at work.

Well I guess the 848 rear single sided wheel is very similar to the RC45 rear i have (5.75"x17") This weighs 3Kg (6.6lbs) this is the road version, their is a race version that is a little lighter. The original Honda rear was 6Kg (13.2lb). For reference the front is 2.5Kg (inc alloy spacers & titanium brake disc bolts) & the original was 4.5Kg with steel disc bolts.

It's not the materials that make the biggest difference, its where the weight is on the wheel, aluminium or magnesium, have the same weight distribution ratio, that being most of the weight is in the rim, thus producing the worst dynamics for acceleration or braking, but better for stability. The CF wheels have most of the weight in the hub & thus accelerate & brake quicker. You pays your money & takes your pick.

Don't take anything as slander towards yourself. More to the weight listings on the website I linked to. Looking forward to seeing what you did.

I am assuming that you did the triumph eccentric swap and used either a monster, streetfighter, or 848 rear wheel.

Is this going to be track use or road use?

Same applies to any light weight wheels. I used to make this stuff, much of the noise on the internet is just that. Carbon & GRP before it have been proven to be very resilient materials, especially compared to say magnesium, which is a structurally unsound metal when used in a minimal material manner, just check the UK Superbike accident last year where a Ducati Magnesium rear rim broke all its spokes ! Yes there have been incidents of Carbon doing the same, but they are all old style wheels that I'm aware of.

End over End cartwheel accidents will destroy most wheels, so I'll try to avoid that :)

No its all Honda, road use, maybe a few track days. It's a project really, not for race use :)
