I was thinking about converting my 4th gen over to RC45 bodywork after my accident (seen all the threads on this conversion), but the bike came back together pretty well. As of right now, I don't have any major winter projects lined up (besides some house projects) so now I'm thinking too much. Would a 5th gen fit into aftermarket RC45 bodywork? I know the cam gears moved to the outside on the 5th gen, but I'm unsure if the bike got too wide to fit into RC45 bodywork. Before I get yelled at, my master plan would be to salvage a roadrashed 5th gen to do this. Any thoughts on this? Anyone try it?
I'm going to need a winter project... 5th gen / RC45 conversion?

Anyone have any thoughts about this? Since the RC45 body fits on a 4th gen, are the 4th gen and 5th gen too different for this to work? I know I'm in for some major radiator relocation at the very least
Not a clue. It will probably take a good amount of effort, and the stock tail might not work at all. Where are you getting the RC45 parts?
Why a 5th Gen? I'd probably just do RC51 bodywork on a cosmetically-challenged 5th Gen... get another 4th Gen and knock yourself out!
