New 5th Gen Owner

Hi all, I've been lurking here for a while, but after reading a number of new owner intro posts, I figured I'd do the same.

I bought a yellow Y2K a few months ago with 48k miles and love it!  The bike came with Sargeant seats, a Jardine can, Givi side bags, and 3 Givi mounts.  I use one of the side bags on the top plate and keep bag #2 in the garage with the side brackets.  

There are a few cosmetic items (ding in the tank, scratches in the fairing, old touch up paint not blending well), but overall in decent shape for the miles and price (VFRs seem to fetch a premium in SoCal).  

Just want to say thanks for a great site and I've already tracked down a few bothersome items based on your info (speedo up and quit one day - a little dab of RTV healed it, fan thermo switch on order, manual toggle switch bypass for now, etc, etc, etc)

Welcome to the site.  Cool story bro, but you don't exist without pics of the bike.

Working on it...  Can't figure out how to upload pics on the mobile version of the site or from the iPhone app...

I was just kidding, everyone loves pics on here.  

On my droid I just hold down on the picture and copy it.  Then come onto the mobile version and  hold in the reply box and paste it in.

Pretty sure that's how I do it.

Can't make it work!  Will get to the PC tomorrow...  But I can't be the only iPhone user right?  Anyone?  Bueller?

Welcome. The VFR has been one of my favorite bikes of ll time :)

Thanks...  This is my 3rd Honda V4, but first VFR.  By far my favorite for daily driver duties!

What am I missing to attach pics directly to a post (ie. copy/paste)?  On the full version I have the image button to add the ref tags for a link, but haven't been able to directly upload a pic to a post...  Unless that's by design to cut down on bandwidth/storage requirements???

I haven't used the copy/paste. I add photobucket photos with the image tag. I can't view your photobucket account, but there should be a [img] tag under each photo in your album. Clicking on that will copy it and you can then paste it in to each post here.
