that I saved back in 81 from the fires of Smelter...

The RC45 was Shuhei Nakamoto baby... he was chief development engineer
for Team Castrol during the 1997 WSBK season. He explained the continued
evolution of the fuel injected, four camshaft, 16 valve Honda V4 engine... he
was HRC's "go to guy" then and he is HRC's "go to guy" now...

Guy Procter the editor of MCN wanted to publish photos of the NR500
cylinder blocks as part of my Tijuana Story published last month but I
was afraid Honda Legal would come knocking at my door asking for them
back... so Guy emailed Nakamoto and then he went up the Honda chain of
command and pose the question directly to Honda Legal in my name...
I'm relieve to learn Honda will not take legal action if I release the
photos...

Larry, what's the story on the race fuel?

Did they not want to bother shipping partial drums back overseas??  You get 'em for free, just for making 'em dissappear???

I suppose Mr. RC45 is going on a new diet for awhile???

Rob you guessed it... HRC didn't wish to bother with 2 full and one partial drum so they made me a offer I could not refuse... just make 'em disappear... I'll dyno test some of the partial in Mr.RC45 and sell the rest...

Compared to what I burn now... every time I go to our local airport I think about Av Gas but it contains lead
and lead is a high maintenance item for a modern engine...
