Who owned this bike????Need Help

I bought a wrecked 1999 VFR from a guy in Greensboro,NC. He had bought it from a insurance auction. Im thinking the original owner was somewhere in NC. He said he believed he was from around Charollte,NC. The bike has a real nice Siver and red paint schem. It has a Hi mount staintune and polished wheels with slicks,,,,The bike kinda stands out,,LOL. Just wanted to ask him a few questions about the bike. Thought he might be own here or someone might know him.

Its funny - but whenever I see a VFR up here in the soon to be frozen north - I wonder what VFRD member it is ?

SO - is the frame cracked?

I'm guessing the frame must still be cracked. The reason it went back on sale.
Good news is there is a good one with title on fleabay right now for 300 clams. good deal IMHO.

thanks guys,,,Only damaged I can find is the alum stub where the stay was attached is broke off (still on the stay) I bought it just to get the exhaust,wheels, clipons and seat. This will be my 4 5th gen,,My plans were to part it out,,but im having a hard time trying to bring myself to do that to perfectly running bike. I have to do something or my wifes going to kill me. The guy i bought it from said it had raceteck springs and valves and the engine had been replaced. I didnt consider either of these when i bought it.When/if I do part it out I would like to be honest about milage and the forks.
