Hey all,
I have a 5th gen, and would like to add a USB charger. I bought a marine grade unit, and just have to install it. Was thinking about the inner fairing (I forget what Honda calls it -- the upper black panel that the side fairings screw into), but I'm up for ideas.
If you've done this, could you post pics or describe your setup?
Related question, what wire did you tap off of? I'd like to use a switched power wire, if possible, for obvious reasons.

get an FZ1 from fuzeblock or something like that...then you can choose between switched and unswitched power for up to 5 accessories...gps, usb, heated grips, voltmeter...one more slot for future expansion
Here is where I put my power source. The power source has a threaded shaft underneath and there is a ring that screws onto the threads from the underside to keep the unit in place. I used the ring to trace a circle where I wanted to mount the unit it and then used a Dremmel sanding wheel to shape the opening for the unit to slide into.
