Orange, used to further accentuate the glorious hellfire that is a 5th gen. I want to give the appearence of flames seeping through the gauges, burning their way out of the numbers, straight to your heart(fallout 3 anyone?)

Seriously though, i want to hear about what model of wedge bulb LED you used, how bright was it and do you think that i should go even brighter to compensate for the green that is already there?

Lets talk more about LEDs, why they are great, how do you attatch those little doo hickeys tha tregulate voltage so as to not cause the F1 indicator to stay on, and even good suppliers.

Hi Chick,

Theres lots of info in this thread, I changed just my 5 dash bulbs, left the indicators, and idiot lights stock:

I got my LED's off fleabay, just do a search around and I'm sure you'll find some orange ones. They are so cheap you could probably get a few different colours

What do you think about how powerful your bulbs are? do you think orange can "shine through" with your exact bulbs in orange?

what were your bulb's model and type?

The orange will shine through no worries.

I dont think my bulbs had a make printed on them, all I know is they are called "194 LED wedge bulbs".

I'll have a lookie at home tonight, I still have the spare 3 blue ones from the original puchase. No faults in the 5 I fitted after 20,000km.

I did a quick fleabay search on my phone for "194 LED wedge orange" there are heaps out there, found 1 seller 6pcs for $2.99, out of China.

thanks, i was a bit hesitant to purchase until i was sure i had the right model.

i do wonder what the minimum number of LEDs on each bulb should be? ive seen a few cone shaped ones with a single LED and quite a few with many LEDs.

I think Sebastian has done this fairly recently, and he writes all of this stuff down, so give him a ring.
