Problems With My 99 Vfr

I only have one problem with my '98 at the moment. Unfortunately it's a big one: no 3rd gear. I'm still happy with it. I just hope she doesn't get jealous of the 4th gen while she's on the lift.
Mine has a problem in that it has to wait another week for the 3 day adventure.
Actually it's more my problem. :goofy:

The only problem with my 5th gen is that it's not YELLOW. Just plain old RED. Very boring, I know. LOL. Easy enough to solve that problem though...............

Actually there's a recurring issue with tires. They keep going smooth, and need to be replaced. :wink:
Although to it's credit it's not near as tire or gas hungry as it's Italian stablemates.

Ok I really jinxed myself.
I killed a battery today. Brand new $150 battery. The thing was too hot to touch. I had some trouble with it yesterday and today it went apes**t on me. Same symptoms as a faulty RR.
This was around the same time in installed the Stebel. New battery installed and I have pulled the wires on the horn. No issue. It's getting returned.

Yes I know. However there is no problem any more. I went for the first long ride (40kms return) with my wife on the back tonight. She was very happy and really enjoyed herself, and so did I.
