First off hello to all on here, my name is Nikki(YES I AM A WOMAN). I got this 2012 VFR 1200f back in August of 2013. I love this bike, it fits me like a glove. I have already done lots of mods like the Power Commander, K&N air filter, reusable oil filter, iridium spark plugs, Heli Bars, had my seat refurbished by Cee Baileys, fender eliminator, and a Fitch Fuel Catalyst (It's a octane buster so I can run 87 octane normally and put the 91 in for the track). I finally fished having the bike painted last month.

I use to ride a Can Am Spyder and it was also pink and black cherry. I switched to two wheels because the seat on Spyder was two wide for the problem with my hip joints. I love the narrow seat I have on VFR after I had it refurbished. I sat on many different bikes before picking VFR, I needed something I could ride long distances, had enough horsepower, and looked good.

It has been fun getting use to riding on two wheels, I already have over 5,000 miles. After getting the Power Commander this bike is a beast, it took me another week to get use to the instant power and no more sluggish 1st and 2nd gear.

I love riding VFR because it's a great bike that no one really has them in my area. People look at me like I am an Alien because it is black and pink and a woman rider.

If anyone is in the LA area and want to ride just let me know. Send me a message or friend me on Facebook, my name is Nikki Weatherford.

Thanks guys, the restrictions I felt in 1st and 2nd went away when I got the Power Commander. It's nice and smooth now.
