I recently low-sided my 1998 in gravel & am looking for some OEM parts if anyone has any they're willing to part with. I need:

-Windscreen
-Left & right mirrors (prefer later model 5th gen mirrors--not condom style)
-Instrument panel stay/bracket
-Upper/front fairing
-Gearshift lever
-Tail light assembly

Thanks!

So sorry to hear! Sounds like your ok which is what counts, bike parts are replaceble us not so much.

I'm sure many us would like to hear what happened so we can learn from your experience.

I have oem 99" mirrors, they're the condoms, in pretty good shape if you want, just cover my shipping

I've got one of those cheap Dubious Chinese smoked windscreens you can have for the price of shipping.

I think I may have sourced a pair of the 2001 mirrors over on VFRW--I'll let you know.

OEM parts gonna cost a fortune (specially plastics), i'd say look on eBay u could source most of these for cheap

Mirrors and winfscreen would cost u about $50 altogether from China

Partzilla works.

I'm in Australia, but i have almost everything as i took it all off to streetfighter it.

No windscreen (it was pretty weather beaten, so i tossed it) and no ride side as i cut it up for a very unsuccessful attempt to make a belly pan.

postage should be cheap through aus post for the smaller stuff.

Failing all that there's www.davidsilver.co.uk who specialise in 'older' Hondas (over 10 years old I think..?) UK based but they ship worldwide and usually price pretty well.

Thanks to the kindness of folks here on this forum, I've found almost all the pieces I need for shipping cost alone or a very reasonable price. Thank you to meangene & timmythecop for their generous deals as well as others who've made offers to help. As I said before, this is my only transportation right now & I'm living on a shoestring budget, so it's been a godsend to have folks step up & help!

The only part I'm missing is the front cowl but I've found one on ebay for $280 including turn signal lenses so I'm going to grab that as soon as I can save up the cash.

You guys ROCK!

If you miss the ebay one send me a PM.

I need a set of racetech/ohlins springs for the gsxr 600 front end I have on my Vfr. If you're interested (and if it's cheaper for you, springs seem to be really cheap in the us)if you send me springs, I'll send you the front fairing with headlight. No indicators though, I sold them.

OK, I've found ALL the parts I needed plus some extra ones at stupid low prices from several of the folks here on VFRD! I'm truly appreciative to you all. I'll keep names confidential unless they prefer to come out themselves~

FYI, www.davidsilver.com is their US-based operation, opened a few years ago.

Ciao,

You sure you don't want that Chinese Dubious Double Bubble screen? I'll pay shipping. And throw in $3 for the 40 you'll need to get over the looks.
