Anyone using wave rotors on your abs bike?
#2

Uhhh no.

aftermarket rotors are not going to have the ABS "cheesegrater" addon to their rotor.

it's gonna put your ABS light on,  and it will cease to work.

I knew that already. I was looking for someone who has already ordered a set for their bike, or someone who has ordered a set for another bike and drilled and tapped the rotor to bolt up the ABS sensor rotor.

i found this instead.

I'll just take mine their since im close.

But all wave rotors do is slightly reduce braking efficiency. Why would you put them on your bike?

#5
Who told you that?

Wave rotors reduce weight and aid in brake cooling.
#6
Could it be from reduced brake swept area??.......

Sondro Galfer (the son of owner) is a friend... I also know his chief machinist...
and he explained the origins of the wave rotor happened by accident when a
CNC programer screwed up and out popped those crazy wave rotors... they
looked so cool to marketing and you know the rest... if you want the lightest
and best co efficient metal surface then go ductile iron... if you want the
lightest possible then go Ceramic Matrix Composite...

those gotta be expensive pieces of equipment

that may have been what the programer said to the boss so he didn't get fired...

but from what i know,, it was intentional.

to put on a dirt bike as self cleaning  mud remover. :comp13:
