Rapid Bike Ecu For Eighth Gen

Has anyone fitted a Rapid Bike ECU to an Eighth Generation yet and if so what where the results like?

Probably not, there's only a few on the 6th Gens so far & I don't think Rapid Bike list the 8th Gen yet...

Yes that's it, there is two types available the EVO and the RACE for the Gen Eight, I was hoping someone had fitted one as some of the guys with Gen Sixes say they are better than Power Commanders in recalibrating the fueling and the ignition timing for a bit more power. I will have to wait and see I suppose !

Have a look through the thread for the 6th Gen RB group buy, heaps of good info in there. The main advantage of the RB over say a Power Commander is the ability to alter timing, which the PC can't do IIRC.

Thanks to a guy from this forum, I contacted DimSport (rapidbike) and they fitted the toy to my vfr '14, for free!!!!

Now I'm very happy about performance!
