Well, it's been a fun ride but it's time for her to go to a new home. I know that she will be well taken care of. I'm selling her to a fellow VFRD member. This was my third VFR and all have been great but this one was my favorite... Goodbye, until next time.
I am in love with the new AT. Why they didn't bring the Tri-color over to the USA though makes no sense to me. Hopefully next year. I am curious to hear your impressions.
Condolences and congratulations. Hope you will stick around and share all your knowledge about the A T. An early short video I saw of the African Twin was so beautiful it raised the hares on the back of my neck.
Sounds like fun. Looking forward to photos and your opinions of it. Just now browsing the AT's specs, I see it's being offered with DCT. It will be interesting to see how many are equipped with that option.
Thanks guy's. Haven't got one yet but will soon and sure i'll hang around and post up some pic's...
I can assure you that the first MOD will be a long conversation with Don Guhl to see what he can do with it. I'm sure the new owner will post up some pic's on his ride home on Saturday...
Sounds like fun and totally understandable. The VFR struggles a bit when the pavement ends but there are so many nice places to check out. Does this mean you'll be looking into cushy camping gear as well?

Get them wabbits off ya !! :goofy:
I don't know about that. When Bugs and his buddy stand up, it usually feels pretty good.
These are not the same animals that present themselves when Holly Socks! happens in my brain; those guys usually indicate something bad may be happening. When they show up I'm usually too busy to note their species. They could be poison snakes for all I know.
I do appreciate you concern though. ;)
P.S. Are your squirrels the flying type?
BTW: that's quite a quiver of mc's in your garage. Do you buy and never sell?
The Multi strikes again. It's gotten a lot of folks over the past several years.
Duck shop is 2 miles from my house and the 1299s is calling my name, bad. I've resisted thus far but I don't know how long I can hold out. I've made it this far because it would be an addition instead of any kind of replacement.
There is nothing like a powerful twin. Two big jugs are better than 4 small ones :goofy:
^^^ Agree with luvtoleanit, absolutely; the 1299 is two nice jugs stretched under one of the the sexiest Italian exteriors to grace the earth since the 458.
And Hell, besides being mesmerized by it's gorgeousness all day the 1299 might even be a nice riding bike!
Excellent choice, I also love the color. I keep looking but for the moment I'm loving the Ohlins on my 2011 enough to hang tight for now. I think my Ducati dealer has me on speed dial every time he gets a white one in...
I was able to spend three days last year leading the Ducati Demo event rides here in Atlanta and I am looking for the right deal on a white one just like yours but with the trunk on it as well...will it find me before the RVF1000 is announced?

Two happiest days of your life. Getting a 7th Gen and unloading it. Sorry Crazybrother. The RC36 is the is the best VFR to date except maybe the 8th Gen. You can tear up listening to Andrea Bocelli and Sara Brightman singing your song.
