Has anyone fitted extra lights to vfr800f? Although he led headlights are very good, I noticed on a dark twisty road that the view straight ahead is fine but when you turn into a tight corner the horizontal beam turns more vertical and you can't see the corner as you go around. I think a couple of broad beam fog lights would help.

I'm curious as well.  I'd like to see some fitment photos if anyone has them.  I would like to find some that are quick release for use on long touring rides.

Wouldn't that be blinding to oncoming traffic?

Shouldn't if it's a fog rather than spot light.

Not if they are properly aligned.

Mounted on forks?

Properly designed fog lights should also have a low and sharp horizontal cut-off, as they are supposed to keep the beam below the fog layer.  Most lights are not designed for vehicles that lean.  It's a problem.  I think some BMWs have lights that lean with the bike.  Old-school endurance racing bikes had lights angled up and to the sides so that they would be at the proper angle for cornering, but that's probably not legal on the road!

Another worry is that you could impair your distance vision if you throw too much bright light at the ground right in front of you.  I tend not to ride fast curves at night anyway.  There should be fewer tractors lurking around corners at night, but other hazards don't necessarily only appear in the day...

Ciao,
