All 47- Interesting Fuel Stats. I thought my street triple with arrows sounded great but the vfr is a different but very beautiful song.
- Interesting Fuel Stats. Yep still loving it, worth every cent. What fuel consumption did you get on the premium?
- Interesting Fuel Stats. Yes it does show a great improvement in fuel economy which could be due to many different advances and changes but it shows nothing about premium fuel as you have not used it in gen 8. Cheers
- 2017 VFR800F worth paying AUD $14,800 ? ( Australia) Last year bought mine privately, as new second hand with 1600km including top box, panniers, inner bags and other touring stuff for $12400, in case you want to consider not new.
- Bolt Torque for T-Rex Sliders? 46 minutes ago, joecbr I loved it. It was super fast and smooth. Probably the best/fastest street motor I've ever ridden, and I've owned a 2012 Hyabusa and 2 Blackbirds. My main problem was it just didn't have good…
- VFR in WV Bought the bike second hand with 1600km and all the luggage included. Great luggage but would never pay the Honda price.
- VFR in WV I recently did 1000km in two days, had to remind myself to grip the tank with my knees. Had lots of rain the first day! Heated grips were great.
- Any New Frame Sliders? Love my t-rex and have dropped in car park worked well.
- VFR in the Italian Alps Great trip, love to do that!
- Opinion Request: 2nd bike to compliment the viffer Triumph street triple was a good partner for my Honda.
- Mounting a Bike Cam I use Sena 10c, it's helmet mounted so no vibration.
- Coming back to VFRs?? Love my 8 gen, a lot more relaxed than my street triple. I tested the ninja and it's a good bike except I found the screen noisy in any position, rear brake weak, and very buzzy over 7000 revs, loved the rest of it. Gen…
- New Owner Welcome and enjoy the beautiful Honda.
- Should dealers provide a bike setup service...? Great idea, dealers doing this will attract more customers. Bring it on.
- Main Step Heat Guard Could someone have spilt brake fluid on it as the reservoir is right there?
- Anyone Else Disappointed With The Head Lamps? vtwindr, 06/12/2014 at 10:55 AM really, they are not an issue. I ride all year, all weathers, day and night Go on a dark curvy undulating road at night and tell me" it's not an issue".
- Exhaust - Akrapovic or Arrow? Also works with the panniers and easy to fit.
- Exhaust - Akrapovic or Arrow? Here's mine [image: IMG_4748.JPG]
- Exhaust - Akrapovic or Arrow? I have an arrows slip on without the baffle and absolutely love it. Way better than standard exhaust. Nice deep idle like the half a v8 it is and glorious when riding.
- New 8th gen - $6,500!! Great bike and a great deal, quick grab it.
- Picture Thread If judging by fun, it has to be the street triple constant giggles. If you want to do some touring has to be the Honda. When striped of luggage the Honda is sporty but not instant giggles like the street. Honda is…

- Fitted An Automatic Chain Oiler Update - I relocated the drip line to make it shorter and more effective. It now drips down onto the top of the chain with a single feed. [image: post-35019-0-69779900-1460211077.jpeg]
- Aftermarket Pipes For Gen 8 Looks good Grum
- Why I Chose The Vfr 800F Pjcliffo Can mount inside the pillion pegs or near the rear brake master cylinder reservoir.. Or maybe under threat like mine. Hmm how about under the pillion seat like mine. See separate thread for more info on oiler
- Proper Center Stand Technique? I've never had a bike with centre stand before. I used a similar technique to the one above. Got a friend to stand on the other side the first couple of times to get the feel of what to do. After he left did it a couple…
- Fitted An Automatic Chain Oiler Tutoro is not electric and half the price.
- Fitted An Automatic Chain Oiler I quickly realized exactly what you are saying and lowered the feed nozzle nearer to the bottom of the sprocket and at the outer edge. The pic was when I just finished the initial install. Good pick up.
- Fitted An Automatic Chain Oiler Managed to put a Tutoro automatic oiler under the pillion seat. Nice and neat and out of the way. It only feeds oil when the bike is moving. Nice simple mechanism and installation was easy. The round black cap is the…
- Why I Chose The Vfr 800F Can mount inside the pillion pegs or near the rear brake master cylinder reservoir.. Or maybe under threat like mine.
- Why I Chose The Vfr 800F Oiler is a great fit. Making a bit of a mess of rear wheel. Had to cut back the flow, it has an adjustment wheel. Will test again tomorrow. Once set correctly you never touch it except to refill the bottle occasionally.…
- Fog Or Spot Lights Designed as DLRL's not spot/foglights, they do pump out quite some light at night.. Ok, it is a 4th gen, but you get the idea. Yes I like the angle of these, should definitely help when cornering. [image:…
- Fog Or Spot Lights Shouldn't if it's a fog rather than spot light.
- Fog Or Spot Lights Has anyone fitted extra lights to vfr800f? Although he led headlights are very good, I noticed on a dark twisty road that the view straight ahead is fine but when you turn into a tight corner the horizontal beam turns…
- Why I Chose The Vfr 800F Why I chose the vfr800 I won a trip from triumph to ride over 2000kms through Americas national parks out of Las Vegas. This was on a big cruiser the thunderbird Lt. Pic 5 A great bike for this type of trip but not my…
- Frame Sliders For 8Th Gen There are no instructions I asked them and they said they would have to get the engineers onto it, so there are none. It's not too hard. You can see from pics the 2 bolts to use. Take out one at a time then choose the…

- Where Do I Check The Coolant Level On 2014 The owners manual is not much help
- Hi From Oz No plans yet, but what is recommended? Something short to show the single sided swing arm and get it away from the pannier would be good. Plu better sound and less restriction. Must say the standard sound is quite good.
- Hi From Oz Just joined and today bought a 2015 vfr800 with only 1600kms and all the gear to go touring. Took it for a test ride and couldn't say no to such a nice bike. Felt at home as soon as I took off. Very different to my…
