What tire size do you 8-spokers use?

Hi!

Bought the 8-spoker off Sebspeed :cheerleader: , and now i'm wondering what size tire to use with it?

As it is a 5.5" rim i asume it would be a 180/55 tire, but then again the 3rd gen did come with a 170 tire as did the 4th gen with it's 5" rim.

So what are you guys using? Thinking of getting a set of the new Bridgestone S21.  Which isn't available in 170.

180, for the fatter look!

(reportedly, the bike will handle a tad better with a 170)

180/55 here too. Seems a few tire manufacturers are dropping the 170 is some model tires, mostly in the pure sport tires it appears.

I went back to a 170 once but found modern 180s handle better on the 5,5" rim.

I have a 180 on mine 3rd gen as well.

180.   that's originally why I went to the 8-spoker .. whole lot easier to get 180's than it was to get the 170's..
