Did my first "real" tour with the VFR last week, spending four days doing passes in the Dolomites. The VFR does it all - getting there, doing some serious riding in the mountains and getting home comfortably. The bike would benefit from a slightly shorter gearing, but that is about it. Sports touring in perfection, imho.
Switchblade Awesome pics but have you already nick the bags ?
Well observed! The locking mechanism of the left bag broke, sending the pannier on the tarmac while I was riding, so the thing is pretty scruffed now ;(
mikeswe Dolomites is fantastic. 3rd pic, if the helmet falls off the railing, how far is it down?
Inthink my brand new Arai would have disapeared in the dense undergrowth without a trace, leaving a stupidly looking VFR rider without a helmet behind.
