Hi Guys,
I'd like to figure out a way to plug in my heated liner / glove combo. My Beemer came with a plug-in socket from the factory. Can I wire something like that up on my '98? Does the '98 create enough juice to run something like that. I know there are rectifier and stator issues with these bikes, but I don't know how heated clothing would affect those potential issues.

I just sold mine that was in the forks, they do make them but as I hear they are hard to find....like this?

Try Warm&Safe, look for panel mount sockets, and I'd go with the coax as it is smaller format than Powerlet. They do have some Powerlet (BMW) sockets as well.

Never had any issues running my Keis heated jacket and gloves on any of my VFRs (5th, 6th, 800X and 1200F).
