- The High Mileage Thread... What Do You Have On Your Vfr? I have an 86 with 46,000 miles on it. I did have the engine rebuilt at 40,000 miles because when I purchased with 38K it was smoking and needed new rings. Magellan did a great job and now it runs like new.
