All 36- oil comming from air intake Thanks Guys! Since I didn't know when was the last oil change, I've done it completly. I'll take a look at the air filter to see if there is more oil spilled in the filter after a long ride. I'll change it by the same…
- oil comming from air intake 4 hours ago, Terry Don't check the oil level on the sidestand, the bike has to be on the centrestand. Leave the bike to sit for a few minutes to allow oil to drain back from the cams etc before checking. A bit of oil…

- Aftermarket Pipes For Gen 8 Anyone ever think to try fitting an Mv-Augusta 675/800 triple exhaust? That would give a really nice look to the vfr!
- Power Commander That is an interesting question... I've finally test one whitout honda's driver and I found it less powerfull than my old 2000 which is having 116000km... If a power commander can improve that much, that'd be a nice buy…
- V-Tech Adjustement To the OP.. if you are in Quebec the VFR1200 is considered a "moto à risque", so you'll pay the $1100 plate. There are 4 2010-11 1200's on sale near me for cheap, but the expensive plate and higher insurance made them a…
- V-Tech Adjustement Does the 8th Gen have a "Sport Mode"? I thought those were referring to 7th Gen DCT models??? Not sure I'm understanding your question.....what are your concerns regarding the 6th/8th Gen Vtec engagement point and the…
- V-Tech Adjustement I'm questionning what do I buy between a 8gen or a 7gen, the price is what will change my mind. I've seen a brand new 8gen for a low price (11500$ cad, 14500 with sidecases, taxes, shipping and quickshifter) (regular…
- Need To Make A Decision I'm in the same boat as you. But I've been able to rode the 1200 a bit more than the 800, and I was alone when I test the 1200, not the 800. What I can say about the 1200 is that it is a beast of power, it can go fast…
- Dilemma... Which Model To Buy... Find the foot peg height a strange one indeed, If not a poor excuse Vfr 2014 foot peg height 356mm seat 810mm Vfr 2000 351mm 805mm Vfr Vtec 349mm 805mm So technically there is no difference between arse and feet once on…

- Dilemma... Which Model To Buy... I'm now in reflection to change my 00 vfr for a new bike. I've got 3 choice in my mind but can't place my mind. The first one is the new vfr, so damn nice looking, I've rode it with Honda trial but it was only 30…

- Low Cost Mod raoufhakam Terry The vacuum flapper mod just makes more noise at 3-4000 rpm, more of a honking sound from the intakes. No change to performance that I could feel, so I put it back to stealthy standard. oh, so that's…

- Low Cost Mod Thanks raoufhakam! I'll look into this mod this week, seems really easy to do.
- No Low Beam I had a similar trouble but with high beam. It was the small spring in the switch which was not strong enough to keep the contact. Just place another one and no more problem.
- Low Cost Mod Skids Remove the snorkel, disable the Flapper Valve & disconnect the PAIR valves. All free. Then sync the Starter Valves. But the snorkel did not help getting air from the front? What does the Flapper alve do?
