2000 Vfr Paint

Does anyone have any paint info to repaint a vfr 2000 yellow?

I think you'll find that the answer is that our Yellow is nearly impossible to match. Even Corbin can't get it right on their Smuggler seat/trunk thingo. (I have one, painted twice by Corbin, not a good match at all) It's very dependent on the whole base coat-color coat-clear tint coat process. Color Rite sells the paint, but it's never really a good match. Painting everything is generally considered the way to go, at least where panels meet.

Here's my bike with the Corbin Smuggler....close, but no real match, and those guys do this for a living!! And it really depends on the type of light. In sunlight it's okay....but at night under streetlights it looks like a different color entirely. And THAT is the issue with tint-coat types of paint.

Thanks, Ok now another question is I assume that it will be wise to paint the whole bike and not try to fade in?? Also should I be able to get away of not painting the tank. Last but not least how much does anyone think it would cost to paint everything but the tank??
