Is This True?

I sure as hell hope it's true..............I WANT ONE!!!
So will we take the word of "Solomoto" as true, after years of other motorcycle websites and mags that tried to lead us on to what the next new VFR would be "right around the corner" which, of course, always never came. Not till I hear it from Honda themselves would I believe any of this. Otherwise I consider this Bollocksbullbuttpuckey!

Thats an old mock-up picture.
I'm not going to believe it until I can walk into a Honda sdealer and test ride one...

I wonder if Honda would seriously think about a 200hp production engine. That seems a little absurd, but then again I'm not really sure where that segment of the market is going.
stier poep ;p
Oh #%#$%@# not this again... :schla15:
The exhaust leads me to beleave it is BS
CHOPPED!
Sorry, not until "official" word is released I'm not putting much faith in it. Even after that, I wouldn't buy an "alpha" model. I would wait a couple years at least until the bugs (and you know there will be) get refined out.

It doesn't fit in with all the eco-friendly crap they're pursuing. If they did introduce a 1000cc version of the VFR, it wouldn't have goodies like USD forks, sexy wheels etc because it would need budget fittings to offset the added cost of summat like an eco-engine that drops two cylinders at cruising speed (a bike version of the one fitted to the new V6 cars). There's no way a replacement VFR (if there ever is one, which I doubt very much) will be a performance machine. That's saved for their race-replica machines - the CBRRRRs.
Again that picture?
NOoooo...

You guys are such a bunch of jaded non-believer conspiracy theorist cynics.
I happen to know for a fact that this is the new VFR. I know 'cuz last night a leprechaun dressed as the tooth fairy showed up in my Matrix-like dream and told me telepathically that this was in fact perhaps maybe almost certainly going to be the new VFR.
Then he jumped on his winged unicorn and rode off into the sky, exclaiming, "I'll be back again someday!"
There you have it. Now let's hear you guys deny this is really the next VFR!
:goofy:

If it's true then who wants an 04??? :fing02:
fake
that photo has been edited in photoshop. you can see how the 'swoop' line on the side of the bike actually is transparent over the radiator. nice looking mock-up though.
i'd take this with a grain of salt - i don't think honda is going to switch the CBR inline fours to V4 motors anytime soon. i'd suggest that this is just speculation.
but they've provided some interesting food for thought.

Damn! I thought I was the only one being visited by the leprechaun fairy!
So the BS van has resurfaced by parking right here at VFRD, I thought it had been dealt with like Pamela Anderson in a houseboat video
This is a rehash of all the stories that came out in september of last year when the 1000RR was released at the Paris show. Same exact story, just updated colors on the fake bike. It would be a great idea, just not sure there is any meat to it.
I'm gonna go ahead and call BS, I'm not holding any faith in a website that uses English such as "Honda are now expected to build a non-VTEC, 1000cc V4 which will power their new VFR1000 sports-tourer." Don't know if this is an otherwise legit website, but I'll believe this when I see it. I do wish this were true though.
Nicky Hayden explains the Honda engineering ethos:
"...we definitely supposedly have a new engine coming soon that we were expecting already to have."
Thanks, clear as mud now.

Ya this is true thats why they dropped the RC51. Now with all the money they are saving on not making them they can afford the R&D for the FVR 1000.........

Ya know....I wouldnt have believed it till I heard your increcible story. Now who could make that sort of stuff up?!? I'm a believer now!!!!!!!!!!
That article was posted last year according to the date. Old rumors, terrible photochops. The more things change, the more they stay the same. :D

I have no idea what that is  , but if I had to guess I would say it's an accurate description of all these new VFR rumors
Just in case anybody at HONDA is reading this forum...............I WANT ONE! I WANT ONE! I WANT ONE! I WANT ONE! I WANT ONE! I WANT ONE! I WANT ONE! I WANT ONE! I WANT ONE! I WANT ONE! I WANT ONE! I WANT ONE! I WANT ONE! I WANT ONE! I WANT ONE! I WANT ONE! I WANT ONE! I WANT ONE! I WANT ONE! I WANT ONE! Any questions??
Sounds brilliant to me. Now I must clean the drool from off the keyboard. Time to start rationalizing to wife why i may need to buy a new bike soon.
According to Spanish website Solomoto, we may see a resurgence of Hondas Legendary v4 powered bikes over the next two years. While the 1980s and 90s V4 Honda RC30 and RC45 are considered to be all-time performance bike greats, the current vfr8000 sports-tourer simply isnt in the same league. Its ....
WOW.
VFR8000
i guess i missed out on that model..

So I dreamt th'other night I ran into a leather chap-wearing leprechaun riding a Mexican Chihuahua who told me that the new VFR was gonna be pneumatic - like Pamela Anderson, and it definitely is supposedly gonna be possibly introduced like maybe next year. Or whenever Nicky wins another MotoGP title. He then spanked his trusty steed in the arse and said andale and rode off...
Meanwhile I suggest you all hang on to your current Viffers coz the chance of us getting a new one are about as likely as gas going down to $3 a gallon...

Thanks for the chuckles and wet-dreams... jejeje pneumatic like Pamela....me parto...
This same bike again. It says 2008 vfr1000.
We know that is not true. We already have a 2008 vfr and it's the same. b

Every month or so I check back onto the board here hoping to find details of a sweet new VFR.....
